All-Star Weekend
Get your DVR’s ready people, the All-Star weekend is upon us. The NBA has given every NBA fan who is in a relationship in quite a predicament: do I choose my partner? Or do I have a beer, have some buffalo wings and watch some of the best basketball players in the world show their stuff? If you are like me, you might not be getting much action that night.
Still, how can you say no? The NBA has put quite a little package together for you, old teammates reuinte after a bitter farewell, a 7 foot behemoth of a man defends his slam dunk title without his wingman, neglected Cavalier point guard comes in with a chip on his shoulder, an outdoor h-o-r-s-e competition featuring some good talent, a cowboy wideout who vows to score 40 points in the celebrity all-star game (who should have spent more time practicing his routes rather than shooting hoops) and of course, your lovable TNT announcers leading the (whom we all expect to be a little less drunk than last year at New Orleans). It’ll be quite a show, and I’ll have some highlights for you as the days go just in case you choose to have sex over basketball.
