Marbury Demands a Warriors Death

Published by basketballpeon at 1:12 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Well, I’m sure at least half of New York would be happy to oblige.  Ok, Marbury used it metaphorically when he stated, “I got shot in the head by my own guys in my foxhole. And they didn’t even give me an honorable death”.  Let’s put this into context, using his own metaphor; but instead of a contemporary soldier, let’s use one from the middle ages.  Imagine a great knight, who has fought many valiant battles.  This knight goes onto the battle field, and sees his teammates getting injured or killed, but he watches his own back.  When the local lord wants him to fight a battle the right way, this knight throws a hissy fit and refuses to go to battle.  His fellow soldiers begin to dislike him.  This contiues on and off for 2 years during times of war.  The King is forced to change personnel to boost morale and the new lord would rather fight the war without this selfish knight.  The other soldiers rejoice.

I’d say that knight had it coming, and if he wants me to kill him like in his metaphor, i think a good lynching is in order.  The townspeople can come and watch the killing, throw vegetables at him, and leave him hung for dead.  That knight has got no excuse.  He should have shut his pie hole, and left for another country that would put up with his shinanegans.
